Some people enter tech with a clear path. Iveren Cheku entered with a need — for freedom, flexibility, and a skill not tied to one location.
During an ASUU strike while at university, she made clothes for students until customers left and income stopped. She needed a skill that could move with her — that was the beginning.
The biggest hurdle was starting from zero — no tech background, learning how to use a computer as part of the journey. But she kept going.
She discovered Klugekopf TechBridge through a Facebook post and connected with a mission she once needed herself.
As Social Media Manager, Iveren contributes through program planning, strategy, content development, and creation — shaping how the community communicates and grows.
Her advice: "Don't be stingy with your knowledge. Pass it down." Her legacy: proof that you can start from nothing and still build something meaningful with determination, discipline, and consistency.
